This Week's Show!

We have a great show for you this week.

We start off with an in studio guest, actor and director Jeff Rector, who is also the President of the Burbank International Film Festival. We talk to him about the festival (which takes place September 5-9) and about his past work as an actor with credits in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Sliders, and Veronica Mars.

Plus we play more interviews from San Diego Comic-Con. This time we have clips with famed Incredible Hulk comic writer Peter David, and Jace Hall (The Jace Hall Show), who talk about their new shows on Stan Lee's World of Heroes (for those of you who don't know that's Stan Lee's new YouTube channel). Find out who would win in a fight between Superman and The Hulk, what Peter thought of The Avengers, and which beer Stan Lee would choose at a superhero bar!

We also take a little time to talk about what we want to see from the next Batman trilogy, talk a little about the Olympics and discuss some crazy Geek News of the Week.

All this and much more on Geek World this Thursday and Friday at Noon (PST) on Indie 100, with replays throughout the week on The Point. And welcome to our new listeners over at Shellies!

Quite possibly the cutest Naruto cosplay we've ever taken a photo of!

Wow Cobra Commander, I think there's something different about you... It must be the hair.

May the odds be ever in your favor.

Supergirl reminds us that she has super strength.

The Invisible Man asks the Masquerade staff if invisible is considered a costume.

Spider-Man and Dr. Light team up.
Spider-Man cosplayer: Jah'lon Escudero

Yes, that is Ken Marino cosplaying as his character Mark Orlando from Burning Love!

Berserk cosplay takes Guts!

San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Photos - Part 3

Yes, we're still getting photos up from SDCC 2012. Here's another set with some of the great cosplay we saw at the convention.:

It's a street fight in the front hall of the convention center.

Nate Drake seeks out the treasures hidden at SDCC.

OMG I think Black Cat skinned a tribble to get the fur on her costume!

It's almost like the 4th Hokage is watching Naruto perform shadow clone jutsu.

I don't remember San Diego being on the map of Tamriel.

It appears that Deadpool stole Magneto's helmet then broke the 4th wall to kidnap Green Arrow from the DC Universe, all to get a photo with Dark Phoenix!

If Heimdall is here that must mean that Comic-Con IS the Rainbow Bridge!

Vash the Stampede and Nicholas D. Wolfwood.

Max Payne brings his vices to Comic-Con.

The Hobbits have to face the treacherous halls of Comic-Con before they reach Mordor.

Sabertooth bears his fangs.

Apparently this time the fireplace led to Comic-Con.

Long lines at Comic-Con make Sasuke's curse mark take over.

The Iron Man 3 armor. Is RDJ in there?

San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Photos - Part 2

Sorry it's taking us so long to get the Comic-Con photos up but don't worry we're still working on them and they will go up! (By the way stay tuned because the next set of photos we're planning is our Tattoos of Comic-Con post!) For now check out this new set of SDCC 2012 photos:

Catwoman licks the blood of hundreds of vampires off of Abraham Lincoln's ax!

I can feel Asura's wrath from all the way over here.

Sindel and Kung Lao are looking for a fight!

Would anybody like to buy some nice hot decomposing body parts? Umbrella promises that they won't turn you into zombies.

Katniss gives Peta some support.

I have to give a special applause to these Disney villains for including the hunter that shot Bambi's mom!

Don't Blink!

Rick and Lori hold out hope that these zombie girls didn't get Carl.

Pacific Rim display

Fasha must be pretty tough to be part of Bardock's team!

Harley Quinn and Catwoman plan some mischief at Comic-Con.

Revenge is a dish best served while cosplaying!

What you don't know about this photo is that Wonder Woman is actually inside her invisible jet.

Oh no, trolls are rampaging through Comic-Con!
