Geek World Radio on YouTube Promo

Hey everyone, we've rebooted the YouTube show, it's now Geek World Radio! Subscribe to the channel and check out our first episode this Wednesday, which will be completely dedicated to Doctor Who. We'll play interviews with Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and Executive Producers Steven Moffat and Caroline Skinner.

Geek World Radio will post every Wednesday on YouTube.com/GeekWorldRadio, and keep listening to our radio show every Thursday and Friday at Noon (PST) on Indie 100, with replays throughout the week on The Point.

Picard on "Star Trek: The Next Generation", working on David Carradine's last movie and being responsible for Sam J. Jones (Flash Gordon) being in "Ted".

This Week's Show! DC Reboot!

 

This week's show is all about the first company of comics, DC! We'll do a history of Detective Comics from it's inception in the late 1930s to it's brawl with upstarts Marvel in the 60s, all the way up to this month's big 52 reboot.

We'll also review Geoff Johns precursor to the all new 52, the mini-series Flashpoint, and we'll discuss Justice League #1.

On this week's episode of Geek World we turn into real life crime-fighters and review HBO's new documentary Superheroes. Then we go cheeky banannas over the release of Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and get animated over the new anime series The Mystic Archives of Dantalian and No.6. All this and we'll talk about the new season of American Ninja Warrior and the new ABC family show The Lying Game.

92.5 KYHY has officially changed it's name to Indie 100. You'll still get all the same great shows, independent music and talk that you got from 92.5 KYHY, they're literally just changing the name (we didn't get bought out by an evil corporation or anything)! So let everyone know that Indie 100 is the new name but everything you love about the station will remain the same!
