This Week's Show! TV Pilots, Bridesmaids & Pirates DVDs, DC Comics!

 

On this week's show we're taking a look at some of the TV pilots for the new Fall season, including The Playboy Club, The Secret Circle, The New Girl and more. Also we'll discuss the returning seasons of Vampire Diaries and Hawaii Five-0 .

We'll also review the newly released  DVD Bridesmaids and take an early look at the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides DVD! All this and we'll review the second set of DC's New 52, including Batman and Robin, Superboy, Suicide Squad and more!

This Week's Show! New TV Season, Comic Books, & Dead Island!

 

On this week's show we're taking a look at the upcoming TV season starting with a review of the pilot  of the new Sarah Michelle Gellar drama Ringer. Also we'll look back at a very witchy 4th season of  True Blood.

We'll duct tape some household items to do battle with the vacation-survival-horror-nightmare video game Dead Island, and we'll take you through the first set of comic books released for DC's The New 52 reboot. All this and much more so be sure to tune in!

This Week's Show! DC Reboot!

 

This week's show is all about the first company of comics, DC! We'll do a history of Detective Comics from it's inception in the late 1930s to it's brawl with upstarts Marvel in the 60s, all the way up to this month's big 52 reboot.

We'll also review Geoff Johns precursor to the all new 52, the mini-series Flashpoint, and we'll discuss Justice League #1.

James Gunn Interview from Comic-Con!

We were very lucky to interview James Gunn (the director of Super and Slither) at Comic-Con this year. We talked to James about his unconventional superhero black comedy Super (starring Rainn Wilson, Ellen Page, Kevin Bacon and Nathan Fillion), his early years working for Troma and a whole lot more!

The New Superman!!

Supes is going through some big changes lately, between the DC reboot redesign (via Jim Lee) and the new Man of Steel Henry Cavill rocking a similarly new costume design.  All we know for sure is The Man of Tomorrow now wears his underwear on the inside of his costume, just like the rest of us!

BTW, we never saw The Tudors, so we don't know if Henry Cavill can act his way out of a cardboard box, but he certainly looks like Superman!

On This Week's Show!

On this weeks show we're upgrading our biometrics to review the new video game Deus Ex: Human Revolution. We'll also review the upcoming blu-ray release of X-Men: First Class and aim for the head to discuss MTV's new cops-fighting-monsters show Death Valley.

All this and we go international to review the DVD release of the Norwegian horror/comedy Troll Hunter!
