Getting Really Upset About Smallville!!! Superman's New Costume Needs a Doctor, but Who?

Smallville is in its 10th season now (that's right, you read correctly, tenth season!!!) so all bets are off. We've seen Clark fighting crime in red jackets before, but not tiny red leather jackets that seem to be paying homage to one of our favorite shows, Doctor Who!

 
So just in case you're unclear, Clark Kent's new costume looks  
EXACTLY LIKE MARTHA JONES' OUTFIT!!!

It's creepy, same jacket, same blue shirt underneath, black pants. It's like they went online and ordered the "Doctor Who: Martha Jones" costume in XXL.

At least we've seen the real Superman costume behind ice in the Fortress of Solitude, but couldn't they at least have dressed him like The Doctor instead of one of his companions?

Remember WB, bow ties are cool, dressing Superman like a girl... not so much!

We Love Emma Stone! And So Does Spider-Man!

Oddly enough, last week while reviewing Emma Stone's new movie Easy A, we talked about the rumors of her being cast in the Spider-Man reboot as either Mary Jane Watson or Gwen Stacey. We both love Emma Stone and really enjoy her emerging as a great new female comedian, so we didn't want her to play the damsel in distress in a super hero movie.

Sony Pictures announced that Emma Stone will star alongside Andrew Garfield in Marc Webb's reboot of "Spider-Man."  Stone, who is currently appearing in the comedy hit "Easy A," will play play Gwen Stacy, one of Peter Parker's main love interests in the classic Marvel comic book.

In a statement, Webb noted, "The chemistry between Andrew and Emma was stunning and made Emma the clear choice...

...Much to my surprise, it was fun to find out that our choice for Gwen (Emma) is also a natural blonde.”

I don't know what's worse, that we were wrong or that Emma Stone's not a real redhead!

Either way she's awesome in everything we've seen her in from House Bunny to Zombieland, so were definitely happy!



But wait a sec!  Gwen Stacey? I have to watch Emma Stone die?
I have to watch Emma Stone die in IMAX 3D???!!!!!!!
