The Fashion of Resident Evil
We talk a lot about the great monsters from the Resident Evil games being directly translated into the films. Aside from zombies, we've seen zombie crows and dogs, as well as popular creatures like Lickers, Nemesis, Executioner, and G-Virus monsters.
We love how these creatures in the RE movies look almost identical to their game versions, but what about the human characters in the game?
Thus we bring you the Fashion of Resident Evil!
Sienna Guillory playing Jill Valentine in Resident Evil: Apocalypse looks exactly like Jill from the game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (apparently the movie was going to be called RE: Nemesis, but that same year Star Trek: Nemesis bombed in theaters, thus the title change). Stay till the end credits of RE: Afterlife to see Sienna return looking like Jill from the game Resident Evil 5.
Oded Fehr in Resident Evil: Extinction is dressed a lot like his character Carlos Olivera from the game Resident Evil: Nemesis.
Ali Larter playing Claire Redfield in Resident Evil: Afterlife looks exactly like her game counterpart from Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica (except for, sadly, the short shorts)
Shawn Roberts (who is actually the 2nd movie Wesker, Jason O'Mara made a cameo in Resident Evil: Extinction as a hologram of the Resident Evil mega-villain) is dressed up to look exactly like Albert Wesker from all of the games, but most specifically Resident Evil 5.
Also it's to be noted that he has the awesome glowing red cat eyes you first see Wesker sport in the game Resident Evil: Code Veronica.
Wentworth Miller isn't dressed exactly like Chris Redfield from any of the games, but the look is very similar. Check out the placement of the knife on the back, the gun belt and knee-pads!!
Milla Jovovich's character Alice is not from the games. Her look varies in each movie (I think her outfit in Resident Evil: Extinction was from Milla's clothing line), but her look in Resident Evil: Afterlife reminded us a little of mercenary Jack Krauser from Resident Evil 4 (well at least the belt thingy).
